At Beanlytics, we see coffee as more than just a drink. It’s a story written in climate, soil, and altitude — one that unfolds in every sip. Where your coffee comes from plays a huge role in how it tastes, how it roasts, and how it makes you feel.
Let’s break down how different regions shape coffee — and highlight how our current offerings from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Rwanda, and Honduras (Decaf) reflect these flavor journeys.
Countries like Costa Rica & Guatemala are known for high elevations and rich volcanic soil. The result? Coffees that are sweet, clean, and beautifully balanced — a dream for pour-over lovers and espresso aficionados alike.
💡 At Beanlytics, we offer two distinct Central American gems:
Costa Cloud – Costa Rica Natural Process: Expect juicy fruit sweetness, a silky texture, and notes of honeyed citrus.
Guatamatrix – Guatemala : This one’s smooth and crisp, with layers of caramel, apple, and a hint of spice.
Roasting these beans means working with high-density structure — which gives us the freedom to highlight complexity without losing sweetness.
When coffee lovers talk about floral, fruity, tea-like notes — chances are, they’re talking about East African coffees. Places like Rwanda and Ethiopia grow beans that are delicate, expressive, and full of surprise.
We’re proud to share:
Rwanalytica – Rwanda Washed Process: A lively cup with bursts of peach, berries, and a beautiful floral aroma. Roasted gently to preserve its clarity and sparkle.
African coffees often come from high altitudes, and their small, dense beans love lighter roasts — perfect for highlighting their bright acidity and delicate flavors.
Honduras doesn’t always get the spotlight, but it produces some truly impressive coffees. It’s known for approachable, well-rounded flavors — and in our case, a clean, chemical-free decaf option.
Hondurithm Decaf: All the cozy notes you love (chocolate, nut, mild spice) without the caffeine. Smooth, balanced, and crafted with intention.
Fun fact: decaf beans roast a little differently — they’re slightly more brittle, so we give them a roast curve tailored for sweetness and structure.
Coffee origin affects more than just flavor. It also shapes:
Bean Density – higher altitudes = denser beans = more vibrant flavors
Moisture & Processing – washed = clarity, natural = body & fruitiness
Size & Shape – even this impacts how heat transfers during roasting
At Beanlytics, we adjust our roast curves based on each bean’s physical and chemical traits — logging everything, tracking everything, and constantly learning. It’s part science, part craft, and 100% passion.
We believe great coffee should be traceable, transparent, and tailored to origin. That’s why every bag from us includes roast data, origin stories, and tasting notes.
